Extremely practical

The mission of the Institute of Strategy & Valuation is to provide "extremely practical" knowledge-sharing programs for existing and future business leaders, investment professionals, researchers, and academics. The Institute aims to fill the void of practical, useful education that traditional business school programs, often siloed in academic discipline, or lacking connection to real business and organizational activities.

Over the years, the programs of the ISV have been conducted jointly with other educational institutions, trade associations, government agencies, and corporations. They have taken place around the world for the benefit of businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. Content of the programs focuses on advancing global research and knowledge of superior planning, performance, and value-creation. A more complex way of saying this might be “strategy, execution, and valuation.”

Participants benefit from education and global network created by the Institute. Meanwhile, after covering program costs, the Institute’s cash flows support the social responsibility initiatives of the Foundation for Socioeconomic Advancement. The Foundation for Socioeconomic Advancement helps individuals, families, communities, and entire countries to fulfill their unmet needs in food, shelter, healthcare, and ultimately the goals of creating a sense of belonging, self-esteem, and self-actualization.

With this mission, the goals of the Institute are to include practical education with the financial support for the philanthropic objectives. The practical techniques for better planning and organizational effectiveness should be applied far beyond businesses.
